Sports and ACTIVITY

September 2020

COVID CHANGES:  For health and safety reasons, some changes have been made to the way we deliver PE/sport lessons.  (Please see the letter sent out to all families in July 20.)

Each bubble will have a "Fitness Day" and will come to school in sweat-shirts, tracksuit bottoms and trainers, until things return to normal).

This will continue in September 2021.

Morning and Lunchtime play!

Our playground is now 'zoned'.  Some activities will be lead by an adult, but areas are signposted and equipment available for independent play.  Playtimes are fun and engaging and have particularly made our lunchtime periods a happier and safer time.  The children have said that they enjoy playing with their friends even more!

Photos and details to follow!

HEALTH

School has an important role in reinforcing health messages.

We learn about the body in PE and Science.

We promote healthy eating and healthy lunches.

We grow and cook our own produce.

We provide lots and lots of opportunities for active learning.

We keep parents informed about children's physical health and wellbaing.

We use our Sports Premium to support activity/PE.
